The present is where you can live effectively and happily

Counsellor and Psychotherapist in advanced clinical training
for individuals and couples.

Ortensia Terzi

My name is Ortensia (she/her). I’m a trainee psychotherapist with an MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute.

I’m here to support people who may be struggling with relationships, emotions, or just finding their way through life’s challenges.

I know that reaching out for help isn’t always easy. That’s why I offer a calm, supportive space where you can talk freely—without fear of being judged or worrying about what someone might think. Therapy can be a place to say things you might not feel able to share with friends or family.

There’s no one reason to come to therapy. You might be feeling low, anxious, overwhelmed, or simply curious about what’s going on for you. Whatever brings you here, you’re welcome.

My aim is to support you in finding your own voice and your own way forward. I’ll walk alongside you as we explore what matters to you and help you make informed choices.

An environment where you feel secure to
explore any aspect of your life

Therapeutic approach

I approach my work relationally, meaning I prioritise building a relationship based on mutual trust, where you feel secure to explore anything you want. I aim to help you achieve your fullest potential in life, whatever that might look like. Working relationally means our relationship is an important part of our work.

Looking at how we relate to each other can give us clues as to how you might relate to people in general. This method allows us to identify blocks or areas for change, and help you achieve better communication and understanding in your relationship with yourself and others.

am interested in how we experience our emotions within our bodies. How our bodies hold all our life experiences. I have also completed a 12 week mindfulness course. Healing the whole person, mind, body and soul is important to me.

Working with me
will help you to:

  • Become more confident, happy and content with life.

  • Feel calmer and more in control of yourself and your life.

  • Become more aware.

  • Reduce your anxiety.

  • Improve your relationships.

  • Have a stronger sense of self.

  • Improve your communication.

  • Deal with grief and loss.

  • Be more present in the moment allowing you to pause, reflect and respond in a considered way.

  • Trust your judgement more allowing you to trust others in turn.
